The Conference of Major Religious Superiors (CMRS) – Sri Lanka is a permanent body of the Major Religious Superiors of the Religious Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life in the country. It is  approved and established by Vatican’s Congregation for the Institutes of Consecrated Life and Societies of Apostolic Life in accordance with Canons 708 and 709.

The aim of CMRS is to promote the life and mission of religious women and men in Sri Lanka by discerning ways of being a collective force at the service of the Reign of God, as envisioned by Jesus Christ.
